LED LIGHT THERAPY –
Why it’s part of the Prejuvenation Trend
Non-invasive procedures are particularly popular among patients seeking cosmetic enhancements with less commitment and fewer risks than traditional surgery. This trend also ties into the needle-free trend, the move towards prejuvenation for younger patients and the shift in aesthetics towards more regenerative treatments.
LED light therapy utilises specific wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin, stimulating cellular activity and promoting healing and rejuvenation. It is effective in treating a variety of skin concerns, including acne, psoriasis, rosacea, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation. LED light therapy is painless, non-invasive, and can be customised to address individual skin issues.
Why I chose the Dermalux Compact Lite at GSN Aesthetics
It’s easy to use and versatile
Also, the Compact Lite is portable, so I can move it around the clinic to wherever it’s needed. Last minute 10-minute add on after your treatment anyone?! No problem because I can use it over the treatment couch. So my patients can lie back and relax, whilst I set up around them.
It comes with advanced preset, post treatment and custom protocols, making it very simple to use.
Next level results
I was impressed with the Compact Lite’s outstanding results through LED innovation and their unique precision Tri-Wave technology.
The Compact Lite delivers the most clinically proven wavelengths: BLUE 415NM, RED 633NM, NEAR INFRARED 830NM, backed by science to treat a wide range of conditions for the face, scalp and body.
LED Phototherapy uses therapeutic light energy (light emitting diodes) to trigger the skin’s natural repair and rejuvenation processes, with no downtime or pain. It activates cellular activity beneath the surface of the skin to instantly revitalise a tired and dull complexion. This skin healing treatment also hydrates & plumps skin whilst alleviating redness and irritation.
Psoriasis before and after
Important to remember
Research suggests that LED light therapy really can help reduce and improve some skin conditions and issues. To see improvement in your skin, though, you need to have regular treatments. A course of 12 initially, is recommended (20 minutes per treatment). This is followed by regular (likely, monthly) maintenance treatments.
Also, In-clinic LED light therapy uses more powerful strengths than at-home devices, which makes it more effective.
Light therapy is safe for most people, though it isn’t recommended for people with photosensitivity disorders (diseases that cause sensitivity to the sun).
