IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

IPL is a long-term solution to unwanted hair for both men and women.

It uses intense pulsed light to destroy hair follicles at the root and is suitable for the face and the body, including underarm, bikini line, back, legs and torso.

Treatments are fast, safe and effective and you will see noticeable improvements after just a couple of sessions. A course of six treatments is usually required to achieve permanent hair reduction

Is the treatment suitable for everyone?
IPL is most suitable for dark hair. This is because the treatment works by targeting the melanin in the hair follicles, which is present in higher concentrations in dark hair.
how many treatment will i need?
This depends on a number of factors, including the area of the body being treated. Our consultant will be able to advise you individually.
Is IPL painful?
Most people describe it as slightly uncomfortable, rather than painful. The skin may be red and hair follicles slightly swollen after the treatment, but this should subside within a couple of hours.
