PROFHILO

Profhilo from IBSA, is a unique stabilised injectable Hyaluronic Acid with NAHYCO Hybrid Technology and is used for treating skin laxity.

BDDE-free and with one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64 mg/2 ml), it is not only for boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue of the face and neck (can be used on the body also).

As a stabilised product Profhilo lasts in the skin for around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot really say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

Profhilo delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetic treatments.
2 Treatments are required, 4 weeks apart, generally, but your practitioner may recommend more to achieve optimum results.

PROFHILO STRUCTURA

Profhilo® Structura is a groundbreaking injectable treatment designed to lift, contour, and rejuvenate the facial profile by targeting superficial fat layers. By regenerating and repositioning these fat layers, Profhilo® Structura counteracts the natural flattening of facial angles and tissue descent that occur over time. The result is a more lifted, naturally contoured profile without obvious projections or the appearance of artificial enhancements.
Profhilo® Structura is uniquely formulated to work harmoniously with superficial fat tissue. Its specific composition and concentration enhance this integration and compatibility. It is developed using IBSA’s patented NAHYCO® technology, which stabilises a distinct complex of high and low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid. This thermal process removes the need for the chemical cross-linkers that are commonly required in other hyaluronic acid formulations and fillers, ensuring a purer product. Once injected, Profhilo® Structura activates ageing adipose fat cell receptors, subtly and safely encouraging them to mimic the behaviour of their youth.
Profhilo® Structura is clinically proven to restore superficial fat to its original position, effectively tackling age-related concerns like pronounced facial hollows, skin laxity, and the development of a squarer facial shape resulting from midface fat loss. 95% of patients noticed lasting enhancements in the mid-face area after the first treatment. This improvement was sustained three months later, highlighting the lasting benefits of Profhilo® Structura. Profhilo® Structura is a natural and regenerative option for those desiring subtle enhancements without drastically altering their appearance. Beyond addressing age-related facial shifts, it can also restore lost facial fat due to rapid weight loss, including effects from using Ozempic or Mounjaro and other weight loss injectables.
A Profhilo® Structura treatment consists of two sessions, administered one month apart. Profhilo® Structura is injected in the cheekbone and/or the preauricular area – the upper cheek region – using a protocol that evaluates facial structure, including midface projection, hollows, laxity, and skin density. There is minimal down-time with this treatment, and you can go about your day with ease after your appointment.
Profhilo® contains 64 mg of high- and low-density molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which is injected into the dermis (skin) where it is clinically proven to provide tissue restoration without volumisation. It does this by waking up dormant fibroblast tissue to regenerate collagen and elastin, visibly improving the skin’s firmness, texture, and hydration. Profhilo® Structura, on the other hand, contains 90mg of high- and low-density molecular weight HA and is designed for deeper structural remodelling and is injected into the subcutaneous layers. It is clinically proven to reposition and regenerate the dynamic superficial fat pads located beneath the skin and connective tissue, and above the muscle and deep fat layers. Its advanced compatibility with fat cells helps counteract the flattening of facial angles and tissue descent that naturally occurs over time, resulting in a more lifted, contoured, and rejuvenated facial profile. Both treatments offer unique benefits tailored to different skin concerns and treatment areas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation and anti-ageing.
