I recently read an article in the aesthetic press about this. You know when your skin looks washed out, blotchy, spotty, dull or dehydrated and you’ve got puffiness or dark circles under your eyes? That’s festive face. All that overindulging in too much rich food, sugar and alcohol, and not getting enough sleep over the Christmas holidays takes a toll on your skin.
Well, I’m here to help with my top fixes for festive face available at GSN Aesthetics!
Stressed out skin solutions
Wow Fusion (from £150):
This is a micro-needling device with a mesotherapy cocktail that can be tailored to the needs of your skin. Skin rejuvenation with Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Brightening, Multivitamin and Anti-Ageing complexes delivered right into the epidermis via the micro-channels made by the Wow Fusion device. Good for hormonal skin, oily skin and Rosacea or redness too, with the addition of micro-tox. Also great for dehydrated and dull skin.
The Mask by Wow Facial (£20):
On a budget and want a home treatment that will pep-up your skin? This mask is the answer. Full of hyaluronic acid and plant extracts that quickly calms, hydrates and plumps up your skin. You’ll look more radiant instantly!
Dermalux LED Phototherapy (from £50):
Not unlike photosynthesis, phototherapy converts light energy in the same way as our bodies use nutrients from food. This supercharges cell function and accelerates our rejuvenation and repair processes. Whether you’re looking red, having a Rosacea flare-up or an acne breakout this is a great, painless and totally relaxing treatment solution for you. Also clinically proven to improve skin tone, fine lines and to rejuvenate ageing skin.
Chemical Peels (£80):
If you’re having an acne breakout, you have rough, uneven and dull skin or fine lines then the Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is an excellent choice. A light Salicylic Acid peel that will improve skin tone and texture. 1 peel can give you a boost. A course of 3-6 is even better for long lasting results and an improvement in acne and pigmentation.
Hydrating Skin Boosters (£250):
Skin boosters such as Profhilo and Volite, are excellent choices for improving dermal hydration and overall tissue quality. These treatments deliver hyaluronic acid intradermally, enhancing the skin’s moisture levels and supporting collagen synthesis.
Home Skincare:
Whatever you get up to over the festive period, please don’t neglect your home skincare routine and NEVER go to bed without a thorough cleanse and a moisturiser at the very least!
Intradermology Pep-Up and Sonic HA Bright serums (£65) are just 2 of my favourites for restoring hydration and radiance. Obagi Daily Hydrodrops (£80) with Vitamin B3 and Hibiscus oil is another skin saviour. We have too many to count! Just book a skin consultation, we’ll scan your skin, identify the main issues and find the right products for you.
FIXES FOR PUFFY, TIRED EYES
Obagi Daily Hydrodrops Rejuvenating Eye Gel Cream (£52):
Obagi to the rescue for home use! This new eye product is sensational to hydrate and refresh your eyes. Helps to visibly reduce puffiness, dark circles and soften those fine lines.
Intradermology Firm and Revive Eye Serum (£59):
Contains Niacinamide, Vitamin E and powerful hydrators to replenish moisture, smooth and brighten your delicate eye area.
Polynucleotides (£220):
If dark circles and thin dehydrated skin around your eyes is a big issue for you then consider injectable polynucleotides for bio-revitalisation. Plinest or Plinest Eye are available at GSN Aesthetics, following a thorough consultation. This injectable treatment utilises polynucleotides to deeply hydrate, stimulate collagen production, and improve skin elasticity. Dark circles are often a result of visible blood vessels under the eye. When the skin under the eye is healthier, these become less visible, therefore improving your dark circles.
Tear trough Dermal Filler (£275):
If hollows are making you look tired, then dermal filler may be the answer. I can correct hollowing by directly filling the tear trough or I may use dermal fillers to provide support to the weakening retaining ligaments of the face (which effect the under-eyes), by subtly enhancing the cheek. You will need a thorough consultation first, to assess your suitability for these treatments.
However you’re feeling, we have a solution for you, and it doesn’t have to break the bank.
Why not book a no obligation consultation and skin scan and take it from there?
